The need in presenting electrical products to the market in accordance with current legislation namely the CE marking and so it constitutes in a differentiating factor. Selmatron has developed the ACE which integrates hardware and software adaptable to the specific needs of the type of electrical appliance to audit. Among others CEPM, includes the following functions:
• AC and DC Hipot test;
• Insulation resistance test;
• Ground bond and leakage current measurement Test;
• Functional test with monitoring of effective power.
As advantages of ACE, we enumerate the possibility of verifying compliance with the electric component of the CE marking. Through the generated records by each test ACE ensures traceability of all tested products, thus facilitating the detection of problems in the production process, thereby speeding up the response to them, and improving customer service. The tests to the various equipment’s, are made based on "recipe" management, in which a supervisor can parameterize tailor made tests to each model. The tests can be associated with manufacturing orders and to the serial number of the unit to audit.
The standard ACE allows control of a production line with maximum capacity up to 10 posts allowing the execution of the tests outlined above.
As possible applications examples of ACE we mention, microwave ovens, lamps production lines, among others.
Selmatron just released to market its latest software for energy analysing and managing, the Eminus Power Management Lite. The reduction of energy consumption and emissions of greenhouse gases is a major concern of industries process, due to rising prices of electricity and fuel and the tightening emissions legislation, the Eminus Power Manager Software is a support tool for assessing the quality and quantity of energy consumed and its costs. The EMINUS solution is based on hardware and software. The software allows the communication between energy analysers from different manufacturers on the same network with the Modbus RTU protocol. The software presents in four versions: Lite, Bussines, Corporate and Enterprise tailored to each industry.
The Aeolian Power Meter - APM sated on the reliability of generated data, allows evaluation of the effective performance of the wind tower, by validating the relationship between the estimated wind power and energy really produced to the existing weather conditions. This relationship is done based on daily records of average energy values produced from wind tower against the weather conditions. The software that accompanies APM presents itself as a very useful tool for analysis and decision support, based on the data acquired it’s made an evaluation of the actual wind tower performance.
